The ISU has released three new documents pertinent to the 2018-19 season:
All of these are found on this page on the ISU website.
The Technical Handbook is a quick reference guide used to look up the penalty for executing something incorrectly or not in accordance with the rules.
The Referees Handbook is a guide to help referees plan events and execute their specific duties on site. It’s worth reading for coaches and skaters so you have a better understanding of the ways you might interact with the referee (eg., interruptions, music problems, etc.).
Finally, the Program Components Chart has been updated to reflect changes in language, as well as some penalties that must now be applied to the components marks.
Use these documents in conjunction with the Special Regulations and Technical Rules and relevant ISU Communications to set your programs up for success.
